You don't have the stones to do the riding I've done.  None of you do.  You'd quiver in fear at some the things I've done on bikes.  Needlessly reckless?  Possibly.  But nobody remembers a day spent sitting comfortably on the couch.  Life is for living.

Yet you quiver in fear and hide under the faculty lounge sofa over the Flu.  Yeah right.   

It's obscene the money grabbing going on all over the place using this virus.

Happens in every crisis every time.  Wars, floods, hurricanes, killer bees. 

"Likely" is a rather ambiguous term.  Do you mean at low risk?  I think that my wife and I are at low risk to die of COVID.

Scores of thousands are killed by the flu each year.  What makes you so special?  Or is it just a risk you are willing to take?  And do you think that EVERYONE should be tied to the same level of risk as you are willing to take?

Steingar better be careful.  Inexperienced riders like him on liter sport bikes.  Not that he actually rides it, mind you, but I guess that risk, IN THEORY, is OK, but not the Virus risk.  I've been seeing guys riding motorcycles here with NO HELMET, yet wearing a mask!  LOL!

I am not familiar with it so I will.  I have heard of the concept of German nation states which are separate territories within states or regions.  Rush's statement a while back about our activities, beliefs, and lifestyles not overlapping anymore really got me thinking. 

I think the masks are intended more for stopping the droplets that contain the virus.

Another unintended consequence of this shutdown hysteria. Why didn’t we halt all travel in 1957 for the Asian flu pandemic which had a case fatality rate of 0.67%? The case fatality rate of covid19 is going to end up somewhere in that same neighborhood or less. History is going to show this was the biggest disaster caused by human stupidity since communism.

Yes, but the Media/Democrat alliance will say the only reason the deaths are a lot less is due to the drastic measures we've taken.  So, guess what?  They can do it again if they need to try to smear a Republican.  If Hillary had been President, there would have been NO shutdown and NO economic collapse. 

I never could get into it, maybe I only saw part of those first few episodes. Maybe I should give it another chance?

I've watched very, very little of The Office, but I can tell it is a good show as the people remind me of some of the corporate office weenies I've worked with over the years.  It is probably very realistic.   However, for whatever reason, Steve Carell just annoys the crap out of me and I purposely avoid everything he is in, including the 40 Year Old Virgin which I have never seen, but everyone raves about.
