Yep, we were had.
Question is, what are we willing to do to prevent this from happening again? And trust me, if we don’t, we will see this again.
The new coronavirus is real.
The response to the coronavirus is hyped. And in time, this hype will be revealed as politically hoaxed.
In fact, COVID-19 will go down as one of the political world’s biggest, most shamefully overblown, overhyped, overly and irrationally inflated and outright deceptively flawed responses to a health matter in American history, one that was carried largely on the lips of medical professionals who have no business running a national economy or government.
The facts are this: COVID-19 is a real disease that sickens some, proves fatal to others, mostly the elderly — and does nothing to the vast majority.
I think the overall thought is to allow them to loot/burn/destroy and get it out of their system, then step back in and restore order. In the end the protesters will just come to realize that all they did was shit in their own house.

By Tuesday morning, the video had gone viral across the nation — sparking protests in Minnesota and in other parts of the country and putting the incident in the national spotlight.
Biden, speaking at a virtual fundraiser Thursday night, once again urged that the “officers in the Floyd case must be held accountable, including with the FBI investigation and independent Department of Justice civil rights investigation.”
Calling for calm as the protests raged, Biden urged “the protesters to exercise their rights peacefully and safely.”
But he acknowledged that “people all across this country are enraged and rightly so. Everyday African-Americans go about their lives with constant anxiety and trauma of wondering, ‘Will I be next?’ Sounds like an exaggeration but it’s not.”
And Biden emphasized that “these tragedies, these injustices cut at the very heart of our most sacred of beliefs: that all Americans, equal in rights and in dignity, are part of an ingrained systemic cycle of racism and oppression that throughout every part of our society.”
As I typed that, I envisioned you bolding it and adding a snarky comment. 🤣
That's a bit hard to believe. And think about it... would it really be needed to stir the pot? I suspect many people are getting irritable if only because of COVID-19.
One of the principles was no sex before marriage, and I joked that with that I’d reduced the field of candidates to less than 0.1%.

I’m too lazy to look for it, but I swear I remember a signer who was signing for an Obama speech in come foreign country, and he was doing all kinds of crazy gyrations. Turns out he wasn’t an official signer at all.
A man who stood close to President Barack Obama and other heads of state while providing sign language interpretation at Nelson Mandela’s memorial Tuesday was a “fake” who was making up his own gestures, sign language experts say, raising questions about the security at the event.
"[He] was moving his hands around, but there was no meaning in what he used his hands for," Bruno Druchen, the Deaf Federation of South Africa’s national director, told The Associated Press Wednesday.
The country’s deaf community and the ruling African National Congress have no knowledge of who the man actually is, despite him appearing on television gesticulating alongside South African President Jacob Zuma last year, Reuters reported. Zuma’s office is trying to figure out the man's identity.
"I don't know this guy. He doesn't work for the ANC. It was a government event. Ask them," ANC spokesman Jackson Mthembu said.
U.S. Secret Service Spokesman Brian Leary told FoxNews.com on Wednesday that the department is aware of the matter, but declined to elaborate.

As an aside, my half-brother passed away this morning, in Illinois, in a nursing home. He's been there for a few months battling cancer. At some point I'll see the death certificate.

In short, cloth masks are largely symbolic. The science hasn’t changed, but the agenda has.
Implementing mandatory mask policies across a society of 300 million because it makes some people feel better is absurd on its face. But the policy makes a lot of sense if you understand its purpose and usefulness to shift the American mindset.
Mandatory masks are a critical predicate conditioning us to accept abuses of our liberty. Mandatory masking provides the foundation on which governments continue to justify emergency measures and rule by executive fiat, and it creates a national mood of consent that America will accept indefinite government expansion because we face a “new normal.”
