That goes for the entire Republican Party.
Lets face it. Mitt Romney is involved in alot of businesses that depend on cheap imports from china. He has a lot to lose if trade isnt so one sided as it is. I am pretty shocked there is no talk of this in the news.
Bringing the country together is no longer possible, or even desired by the American people. We seem to like our divided war camps and inflexible dogma. There is no "middle ground". Bringing people together mean compromise and compromise means behaving like the "establishment" and establishment is a dirty word now.
You can't fault Obama for not uniting the people and bringing us together. We don't want to be united, or together.
What is it with these dynasty politicians? Trudeau, Kennedy, Cuomo, Bush, Clinton, etc. The offspring or spouses should get a fucking real job.
Correct on all counts, and why Trump is popular. We all know 16 years of the Bush/Obama presidency has gotten us nowhere, and both sides continue to foist the same shit sandwich upon the populace.
I'm damned near ready to vote for Trump, as I feel we need to blow the place up, burn it down, and start over. Trump can certainly do no worse than the past 16 years of asshatery.
They're quite hard-core Democrats. They can rattle off a long list of positive attributes for Hillary and another long list of Obama successes.
Most of their case can be found from Occupy Democrats - my exposure was FaceBook posts, but they have a website as well.
But please do NOT expect me to rationalize their positions - they are not ones I hold, nor do I wish to defend or explain them.
As a woman, I know that the maxim is true: When a man stands up to speak, people listen. When a woman stands up to speak, if people like what they see, they listen.
That is prejudice, and as female, I've experience forms of it all my life and still do.
What's your opinion of the "Patriot" Act?
... but then race hustlers, and malcontent failures would have to look harder for someone to blame for their lack of achievement.
I find it amazing that stupid is so attractive to democrats these days.
Maybe the barking dog will be a better president, so destroy everybody else and make the run safe for cankles, and the world is saved.
The difference was that even Democratic members of Congress saw FDR's court-packing plan as an unreasonable overreach by the Executive branch.
I see no similar scruples with today's Democrats in Congress.
